Number of Stripes needed on a belt to be to be promoted to the next belt. *Minimum of 15 hours required for each stripe. Does not include Self-Discipline Stripes:
White Belt -needs- 1 Yellow Stripe
Yellow Belt -needs- 1 Orange Stripe
Orange Belt -needs- 2 Green Stripes
Green Belt -needs- 3 Blue Stripes
Blue Belt -needs- 3 Purple Stripes
Purple Belt -needs- 3 Brown Stripes
Brown Belts -needs- 3 Black Stripes
*Only 10 hours is needed for your Yellow Stripe on you White Belt.
Testing now happens on an individual basis. You need only 10 class hours to earn your first yellow stripe on your white belt. Every other promotion (stripes or belts) requires a minimum of 15 class hours from your last promotion. Make sure to check your attendance number on the class sign in sheet to see if you will have the minimum class hours to test.
